Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for implementing the Cash Management strategy to align with Corporate Banking goals. The role involves driving the growth of Cash Management revenue, increasing client base, and ensuring customer satisfaction through the provision of innovative and relevant financial solutions. The manager will support Relationship Managers in client acquisition and retention, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and closely monitor market dynamics, competitor actions, and emerging technologies to ensure product relevance and competitiveness.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Implement the Cash Management strategy in alignment with the broader Corporate Banking Strategy.
Drive sustainable revenue and volume growth through innovative financial solutions.
Manage and grow assigned Cash Management portfolios.
Prospect and convert new clients in collaboration with Relationship Managers.
Maintain strategic relationships with clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Ensure consistent and seamless delivery of excellent customer service.
Monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitor activities to mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
Design, implement, and manage cash management products tailored to client needs.
Conduct joint client calls and technical presentations to support cross-selling efforts.
Analyze customer needs and trade trends to inform product and service development.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (Required)
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years in banking
At least 3 years in Transaction Banking or Cash Management
Key Competencies:
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Technologically savvy with an appreciation for ICT trends
Experience in customer relationship management
High integrity and courage to challenge the status quo
Persuasive communicator with strong negotiation and influencing skills
Strong organizational and stakeholder management capabilities
Creative, solution-oriented mindset
