Job Description

The Branch Manager will play a critical role in the success of Lapaire's operations in Uganda. The position involves close collaboration with the Operations Manager and Area Managers to manage daily activities at the branch. The Branch Manager will supervise a team of sales representatives and an Optometrist (or OCO), and will be responsible for driving sales, enhancing brand awareness, and ensuring efficient branch operations.

The Branch Manager will focus on the following key areas:

  • Business Ownership & Customer Service: Understand and manage the business effectively, ensuring excellent customer service, increasing brand awareness, and meeting sales targets.

  • Team Leadership: Build, train, and motivate a cohesive and high-performing team, ensuring they achieve targets for vision tests, sales, and customer satisfaction.

  • Branch Operations: Oversee branch finances, stock management, and prepare financial reports to management, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Maintain a clean and presentable shop.
