Battery Lead: Aftersales Operations Job at Spiro Uganda

Job Description
Spiro Uganda is seeking a Battery Lead for Aftersales Operations to manage the end-to-end battery workflow from receiving and diagnosis to repair and release. The role is responsible for maintaining strict high-voltage safety standards and driving operational efficiency in battery maintenance.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the full battery workflow: receiving → triage → diagnosis → repair → QC → release
- Ensure traceability, asset governance, and audit ready documentation
- Deliver strong performance on TAT, FTFR, repeat failures, and backlog control
- Enforce strict HV safety (LOTO, PPE, isolation, incident management)
- Drive RCA/CAPA for recurring faults and continuous improvement
- Manage spares forecasting & escalations to avoid stock-outs
- Ensure tooling/test equipment readiness and safe work zones
- Plan and supervise technicians; run competence checks and shift scheduling
- Report weekly/monthly performance to country and regional O&M leadership
