Job Description
As the Banquets & Events Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of banquets, meetings, and events hosted at the hotel. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, manage event logistics from setup to breakdown, and lead a team to deliver flawless service. You will also handle billing and post-event evaluations, ensuring each event aligns with the hotel's service excellence standards.

Plan and coordinate the full cycle of events, from initial client consultation to event completion
Supervise event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring all operational details are executed accurately
Communicate with clients to ensure all their expectations are met
Train, mentor, and lead banquet and event service staff
Oversee catering arrangements, seating plans, and audiovisual equipment setup
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Manage billing, invoicing, and financial reconciliation for events
Handle post-event reports and suggest improvements for future events
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience: At least 3 years in banquet or event management within the hospitality industry
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospitality software such as PMS and CRM
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Other Requirements: Experience with billing and financial reconciliation is an added advantage
