Job Description
The Banqueting Waiter will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during banquets, conferences, weddings, meetings, and special events. The role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure all events are delivered to the highest hospitality standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Set up banquet halls, conference rooms, and event venues according to event orders and service standards.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally during events.
- Ensure tables, service stations, and dining areas are clean, properly arranged, and fully stocked.
- Greet guests courteously and respond promptly to requests and inquiries.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout and after events.
- Follow hotel service procedures, health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Work closely with the banqueting and kitchen teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Handle guest concerns politely and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Assist with post-event breakdown and storage of equipment.
