Job Description
The role is responsible for managing operational and administrative functions for Premium and Growth portfolios within Business and Commercial Banking. The incumbent will support the Relationship Manager in delivering proactive client service, managing portfolio compliance, and handling transactional and lending-related activities. Additionally, the role involves entrenching client relationships, supporting risk assessment processes, and ensuring seamless delivery of products and services to meet business banking objectives.

How to Apply
Provide administrative and operational support to Relationship Managers in managing Premium and Growth portfolios.
Act as a central point of contact for clients, managing queries, service requests, and transactional support.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, risk, and portfolio management requirements.
Support lending processes by applying knowledge of business banking and agricultural financing principles.
Monitor client accounts and identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and entrench clients.
Assist in sales fulfilment processes to achieve portfolio and segment growth targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and portfolio performance.
Education
Minimum: NQF6 (FAIS recognised qualification).
FAIS Representative certification required.
Experience
3–4 years’ experience as an account analyst or in a similar role, with exposure to lending principles and customer service.
Product knowledge in Business Banking (essential).
Agricultural knowledge/experience (advantageous).
Core Competencies
Strong knowledge of lending and risk principles in business banking.
Excellent client relationship and customer service skills.
Ability to identify, assess, and manage risks.
Strong communication and administrative skills.
High attention to detail and compliance focus.
Ability to adopt practical approaches to solve client challenges.
