Job Description
The successful candidate will perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and legal entities. This role demands accuracy in handling multi-currency transactions, resolving discrepancies between records and bank statements, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external financial regulations. The candidate will collaborate with AP, AR, and Treasury teams, support month-end close processes, and maintain audit-ready documentation. The role also includes contributing to the automation of reconciliation processes and ensuring adherence to IFRS, VAT, and WHT requirements.

How to Apply
Perform regular (daily, weekly, monthly) reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
Reconcile transactions involving multiple currencies across several legal entities.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
Work collaboratively with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury teams.
Support accurate and timely financial close processes.
Maintain detailed documentation and an audit trail of reconciliation activities.
Assist in the development of automated reconciliation tools and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, and WHT regulations and support audit requirements.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in bank reconciliations, preferably in FMCG, audit firms, or manufacturing environments.
Key Competencies:
Proficiency in managing multi-currency reconciliations across legal entities.
Strong working knowledge of AP, AR, GL, VAT, WHT, and Treasury.
Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
CPA/ACCA part or full qualification is preferred.
Familiarity with automated reconciliation systems and IFRS standards.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
