Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
Leading day-to-day bakery operations to meet production schedules.
Developing and executing production plans in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards and quotas are met.
Managing raw materials: stock counts, reordering, and inventory accuracy.
Preparing weekly rosters and monthly schedules for staff.
Implementing food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance protocols.
Conducting quality checks across all production stages.
Overseeing bakery sanitation, SSOPs, and cleanliness audits.
Recruiting, training, and managing staff performance.
Setting performance goals, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement.
Preparing production reports, inventory records, and quality documentation.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Process Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ bakery operations or production management experience.
Strong technical knowledge of bakery processes and equipment.
