Job Description

  1. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading day-to-day bakery operations to meet production schedules.

  • Developing and executing production plans in collaboration with the Operations Manager.

  • Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards and quotas are met.

  • Managing raw materials: stock counts, reordering, and inventory accuracy.

  • Preparing weekly rosters and monthly schedules for staff.

  • Implementing food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance protocols.

  • Conducting quality checks across all production stages.

  • Overseeing bakery sanitation, SSOPs, and cleanliness audits.

  • Recruiting, training, and managing staff performance.

  • Setting performance goals, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement.

  • Preparing production reports, inventory records, and quality documentation.
