Position Overview
BDO in Uganda is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our growing Tax team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting tax compliance, advisory, and consulting services for a diverse range of clients. This role offers a great opportunity for professional growth in a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA, ACCA, or active progress toward certification is highly desirable.
A professional tax qualification will be an added advantage.
1–3 years of relevant experience in tax preparation, consulting, or a similar role.
Solid understanding of Ugandan tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
