Technical Support:
Providing technical assistance to users experiencing issues with hardware, software, network, or other IT systems.
Troubleshooting problems and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Responding to help desk tickets, emails, or phone calls from users and providing appropriate solutions or escalating issues as needed.
Hardware and Software Maintenance:
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and system upgrades, to ensure optimal performance and security.
Conducting regular inventory checks and equipment audits to track hardware and software assets.
Network Support:
Assisting with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and assisting users with network-related problems.
Monitoring network performance and security, and implementing measures to ensure reliability and data integrity.
User Training and Documentation:
Providing training and support to users on IT systems, software applications, and best practices.
Creating and updating user documentation, manuals, and knowledge base articles to help users troubleshoot common issues independently.
Conducting training sessions or workshops to educate users on IT security, data backup procedures, and other relevant topics.
Data Backup and Recovery:
Implementing and managing data backup solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.
Performing regular backups of servers, databases, and user data, and testing backup and recovery procedures to verify data integrity.
Assisting users with data recovery efforts in the event of data loss or system failures.

Degree in Computer science, software engineering, information Systems, Information Technology or a related field
IT Industry Certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
Should have at least One (1) years' experience in a fast paced and robust ICT environment.
Other requirements
Ability apply Logic to solve problems.
Possess analytical capabilities, excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
Proficiency in High-level programming and related technical skills.
Excellent understanding of business processes and constraints.
Ability to work with Programming languages: C/ C++, Java, PHP, python.
Possess knowledge of relational database systems MS SQL Server, MySQL.
