Job Description
Reporting to the Deputy Director – Transformation and Resource Centre, the Information Assistant II will be responsible for handling information resources including receiving and recording new materials, organizing and maintaining information resources, and supporting users in accessing the required materials. The role will also involve cataloguing, indexing, and ensuring the proper upkeep and presentation of library and resource center materials.

How to Apply
Receive, stamp, and record incoming materials such as books, documents, and publications
Shelve, issue, and return reference materials
Prepare filing pockets and book jackets
Spiral labeling and managing press cuttings
Catalogue and index information resources
Scan and abstract materials as required
Minimum of four (4) years relevant work experience from a reputable organization
Diploma in Library Studies, Information Sciences, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of C or its equivalent
Certificate in computer application skills
