Job Description
The role manages zonal Operations & Maintenance partners and colocators to achieve uptime, QoS and SLA targets across radio, transmission and core networks. It tracks performance KPIs, investigates worst cells, drives preventive maintenance, resolves customer-impacting issues, and ensures regulatory compliance. The officer plans and supports special events, new site readiness, IBS power availability, spares governance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also prepares and controls zonal OPEX (AOP), documents/enforces processes and SLAs, and partners with HQ/MS teams to prevent failures, improve customer perception, and optimize cost.

How to Apply
Manage zonal O&M Strategic Partners to deliver availability, QoS and SLA compliance.
Provide operational interface/support to internal stakeholders (Sales/Marketing/Customer) to resolve issues within KPIs.
Plan and assure network performance/experience for special events in the zone.
Track zonal KPIs and availability; analyze worst cells and drive corrective/preventive actions.
Execute HQ technical tasks/projects within the zone; collaborate with MS teams to reduce failures.
Ensure colocation partners meet SLAs; keep SAQ activities current (rentals/leases with Finance).
Conduct/coordinate audits (Radio/Transmission/Core) and preventive maintenance schedules.
Escalate/resolve security and community issues impacting site closure/operations.
Govern spares at zonal warehouses (critical and non-critical).
Improve customer experience via complaint trending, proactive fixes and continuous improvement plans.
Assure IBS power availability where sites aren’t on tower-company power.
Prepare/manage zonal OPEX (AOP); deliver cost-saving initiatives and measure partner performance.
Document/implement compliant processes, procedures and policies; enforce SLA rewards/penalties.
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecoms Engineering (Master’s an advantage).
Experience: 5–10 years in telecom network operations/maintenance; 3–5 years supervisory/managerial (GSM/mobile).
Technical/Functional: Network KPI management; radio/transmission/core O&M; preventive maintenance; audits; SLA & partner management; OPEX planning; process governance; regulatory compliance; spares/warehouse oversight; strong analytical & presentation skills.
Behavioral/Business: Strategic negotiation, logical decision-making, resourcefulness, cost/process/automation mindset, ability to lead/motivate internal teams and outsourced partners; flexibility and high ownership.
