Job Summary: Coca-Cola Beverages Africa /CCBA is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit an Area Sales Manager.
Asan Area Sales Manager, you will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Key Purpose Statement
To deliver volume and revenue growth across all channels within the assigned area, expand the customer base, and ensure brilliant execution of sales strategies through effective leadership of sales team and trade partners.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure streamlined trade execution according to Route-To-Market (RTM) principles, across territories, to support for increased sales volume and market share.
Achieve volume growth, net sales revenue growth, and increased penetration of key packs across territories.
Build a high-performing, motivated, frontline sales team by providing coaching and training.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
Ensure the right tools, resources, and promotional materials are distributed and used effectively across channels.
Leading Sales and Market share growth in a particular geographic area or channel.
Monitor the sales team’s performance, motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
Ensures a perfect execution to standards with rigor for execution in every outlet according to picture of success.
Builds every individual in the team to be able to achieve sales and growth targets, perfect execution and excellent customer relationships.
Manage, train, and provide overall guidance to the sales team within your assigned territory.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any relevant discipline.
Added advantage: Post graduate qualification.
Experience.
Minimum requirement: Minimum 5 years front-line sales experience within a FMCG environment.
Strong understanding of FMCG sales practices, RTM principles, and market execution standards
Team management experience will be an added advantage.
General
Coaching and mentoring of team members, providing opportunities for growth and development.
Strong understanding of FMCG sales practices, RTM principles, and market execution standards.
Resolving disputes equitably, finding common ground in challenging situations.
Engaging with a wide range of people and builds effective relationships within and outside the organization.
