Job Description
Our Johannesburg office is seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist to join the Architectural team. The role involves delivering architectural design and technical documentation across projects of varying scale and complexity, from concept through to construction.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver coordinated 3D models, 2D drawings, and contract documentation in accordance with project requirements and the Lead Architect's direction
- Maintain and apply Architectural CAD standards across all project deliverables
- Prepare and develop project-specific and typical design details
- Coordinate with internal team members, consultants, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design delivery
- Review and check drawings for quality, accuracy, and compliance prior to issue
- Support project delivery through participation in meetings, technical coordination, and construction documentation
- Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and support project implementation
- Provide technical support to site teams and respond to design and construction queries
