Job Description
The ALM Analyst is responsible for analyzing and monitoring the Bank’s balance sheet, ensuring optimal levels of liquidity/funding, interest rate risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Balance Sheet Strategy – Analyse and monitor balance sheet drivers, develop projections, analyse economic/market data
- Liquidity Risk Management & Regulatory Reporting – Prepare periodic MI, monitor liquidity position and metrics, conduct stress tests, prepare ILAAP document, submit returns to Bank of Uganda
- Interest Rate Risk Management – Perform gap analysis, measure IRRBB, conduct scenario and stress testing
- Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) – Review application of FTP across business lines
- Capital Management – Assist in capital planning and optimization
