Job Description

As part of the project team, the intern will help incorporate sustainable food systems approaches within the implementation of specific conservation projects. The intern will perform economic analyses of agricultural interventions, offer technical advice on climate-resilient farming practices, participate in fieldwork, and support partner engagement and project documentation.

How to Apply

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Land Use & Management, Agriculture and Rural Innovation, Agricultural Economics, Forestry, Agroforestry, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience post-graduation.

Core Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data analysis tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Enthusiastic learner with a keen interest in acquiring new skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with rural communities and team members.

  • Innovative and action-oriented mindset.

  • Fluency in Runyakitara is an added advantage.
