How to Apply
The main responsibilities and tasks are:
Ensure the proper management of administrative team and that administration procedures are implemented as outlined in EMERGENCY guidelines and protocols;
Ensure the proper management of the project’s administrative and financial documents;
Ensure the proper management of cash funds, bank accounts, and monthly reconciliation;
Ensure the proper administrative management of national staff (e.g.: payslip);
Prepare monthly reports (cash flow, reporting files, etc.) and submit them to HQ on time, always highlighting any relevant issues;
Coordinate and support internal and external financial audits;
Ensure compliance with local laws and taxes;
Degree in Economics, Political Science, or International Relations;
At least 3 years of experience in the role, gained in profit or non-profit organizational contexts;
Preferable knowledge of the funding lines and procedures of major institutional donors;
Experience in maintaining the cashbook;
Experience in managing receipts and payments;
Experience in reconciling bank and cash accounts.
Working Conditions
Contract of employment: 12 months contract (6 months probation period) with possibility of renewal;
Social benefits: GPA, National Social Insurance, Health Insurance, Housing and Transport allowance
Leaves: 21 paid leave days and additional leave types
Duty station: Entebbe
Starting date: as soon as possible.
