Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

The Administration & HR Assistant, reporting to the Executive Director, will provide crucial support in the administrative and human resources functions of CRESS AFRICA FOUNDATION LIMITED. The role involves ensuring smooth office operations, supporting HR processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks, including document preparation, filing, and correspondence.

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and events.

  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring their availability and functionality.


Human Resources:

  • Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings and initial screening of applications.

  • Support the on boarding process for new employees.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist in performance management processes.


3HR Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.

  • Support in organizing training sessions to enhance staff compliance with organizational policies.


Communication:

  • Assist in internal communication, ensuring information flow within the organization.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director on employee engagement initiatives.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

  • Contribute to creating a positive workplace culture.


Reports and Documentation:

  • Prepare regular reports on administrative and HR activities.

  • Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive HR-related information.


Other Duties:

  • Support additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in administrative or HR roles is preferred.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
