Job Description
The Accountant – Payables will be responsible for managing the organization’s accounts payable function, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, timely payments, and proper financial record-keeping. The role requires strong attention to detail, financial integrity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Process and verify supplier invoices and payment requests
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and service providers
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Support monthly and year-end financial closing processes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist in budgeting and financial reporting activities
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit purposes
- Work closely with procurement and operations teams to ensure smooth payment processes
