Job Title: Accountant

Salary Range: Gross pay UGX 2,500,000/= – UGX 3,000,000/=
Job Summary: To ensure accurate and timely recording, reconciliation, and reporting of all financial transactions in order to provide a true reflection of the company’s financial position.

How to Apply
Manage creditors and debtors, allocate petty cash, prepare reports, and process supplier payments accurately and on time.
Accurately record all financial transactions in the correct accounts to reflect the company’s true financial position.
Allocate production costs per agreed ratios and perform monthly transaction closings to ensure timely and balanced intercompany ledgers.
Maintain up-to-date, reconciled accounting ledgers and cash books, including closing forex differences.
Ensure timely compliance with statutory filings, VAT refunds, customs procedures, and external audits.
A Master/bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, Business Administration, Economics & Commerce.
A professional course of CPA Level III is an added advantage.
A minimum experience of 6-10 years working in a corporate setting and in handling URA taxes.
Strong computer skills, inclusive of knowledge of accounting software.
Paying attention to details, and good analyst.
Knowledge of quick books.
