Job Description
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and reviewing financial records, preparing and signing off financial statements, and providing client-facing financial services. The position demands solid technical knowledge, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple client portfolios. You will work closely with a team of accounting specialists to ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality in financial reporting.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and sign off on financial statements
Maintain direct communication with clients and provide tailored financial guidance
Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with industry standards
Perform reconciliations and verify account balances
Support audit processes and provide required documentation
Assist in managing client portfolios and providing value-added services

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Senior Certificate)
Bachelor’s degree (BCom) in Finance or Accounting
Completion of SAICA articles
Minimum of 3 years’ experience post-SAICA articles
Registered with SAICA as an AGA(SA)
Experience in client-facing roles
Ability to sign off on financial statements
Own reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s License
Key Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
