Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee transactions from initiation to closing, acting as the primary liaison between title firms, attorneys, real estate agents, buyers, and homeowners. Responsibilities include auditing contracts, reviewing financial documents, balancing HUD/settlement statements, ensuring compliance with approval terms, and managing digital workflows. The Account Manager will resolve complex client inquiries, de-escalate tense situations, provide structured documentation support, and ensure stakeholders meet required timelines. This role requires strong analytical ability, exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of real estate workflows, contract compliance, and short-sale financing processes.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage real estate transactions end-to-end after training

  • Coordinate with title firms, attorneys, listing and buyer agents, and homeowners

  • Audit contracts and supporting documents for compliance

  • Review pay statements, tax returns, bank statements, and other financial documents

  • Perform reverse underwriting to verify buyer affordability

  • Review, balance, and audit HUD/settlement statements

  • Track and manage digital documentation and workflows (Gmail, Sheets, Acrobat, CRM)

  • Ensure all documents are fully signed, accurate, and properly filed

  • Follow up with stakeholders to meet deadlines and resolve documentation issues

  • Explain contract terms and bank approval letters in simple, clear language

  • De-escalate emotional conversations professionally and empathetically

  • Conduct persuasive communication to influence compliance and progress

  • Provide B2B support to buyer’s agents to ensure adherence to guidelines

  • Execute administrative tasks: emails, follow-ups, task management, occasional calls to banks

  • Support a fast-paced, tech-driven, remote working environment

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant experience

  • 16 years of formal English education required

Experience

  • 3+ years in real estate, title, mortgage, legal closing, or related field

  • Proven experience in contract auditing, underwriting support, or accounting

  • Experience handling HUD/settlement statements preferred

  • Experience auditing financial documents (tax returns, pay slips, bank statements) preferred

  • Real estate or financial services background is a strong advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent numeric, math, and financial analysis skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • High-level English communication—clear, neutral, professional tone

  • Excellent written communication (email-heavy role)

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve conflicts professionally

  • Tech-savvy and fast learner of software/CRMs

  • Highly organized, dependable, and proactive

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

  • Ability to multitask across multiple files

  • Remote work discipline and productivity

Technical Requirements

  • Own computer, phone, high-speed internet (≥100 Mbps)

  • Proficiency in Windows OS

  • Experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat

  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce or equivalent)

  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (CST/MST with EST overlap)
