Job Summary:
We are seeking for a skilled Motor Vehicle Mechanic with expertise in fleet Supervision to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, alongside the ability to manage and optimize fleet operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure fleet reliability and safety.
Manage inventory of vehicle parts and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and organization.
Schedule and oversee maintenance sessions for fleet vehicles, advising on best practices for vehicle use.
Maintain accurate logs of repairs, maintenance activities, and vehicle conditions.
Collaborate with fleet management to implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
Train and supervise junior mechanics and drivers on basic vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A high school diploma or equivalent in mechanics vehicle most preferred.
Proven experience as a motor vehicle mechanic, with at least 3 years in a fleet management role preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
