Lecturer Positions (4 Posts)
Available Positions:
Lecturer – Finance & Accounting (2 Positions) – Replacement
Lecturer – Procurement & Supply Chain Management (1 Position)
Lecturer – Public Policy (1 Position)
Salary Scale: M6.1 (UM 4a)
Reports to: Head of Department
Role Purpose:
The Lecturer will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality diploma and postgraduate academic programs, conducting research, offering consultancy services, and contributing to academic and community development aligned with UMI’s mission.

Develop and deliver engaging and practical course content.
Design and implement E-learning programs.
Participate in academic research and publications.
Maintain high academic standards in course delivery and examination processes.
Contribute to departmental and community development initiatives.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Required Competencies:
Strong academic leadership and communication skills.
Results-oriented with a commitment to service excellence.
Innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning mindset.
Experience in curriculum development, program evaluation, and change management.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
A. Lecturer – Finance and Accounting
PhD in Management Science (Finance focus) or related field.
MBA in Finance or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 3 years in teaching, research, consultancy, and community engagement.
At least two published works in a relevant area.
Strong academic and community service record.
B. Lecturer – Procurement & Supply Chain Management
PhD in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
Master's in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Membership in a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
C. Lecturer – Public Policy
PhD in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Management, or related field.
Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in related fields.
At least 3 years’ experience in academic, research, and consultancy work.
Two peer-reviewed publications.
Demonstrated community and academic engagement.
