You will be responsible for managing the financial operations of both field-level project activities and the associated legal entities. Your work will support ecological restoration, community engagement, and long-term sustainability by keeping our financial systems clear, compliant, and audit-ready.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Take ownership of day-to-day financial management, including bookkeeping, petty cash, and payroll
Ensure full compliance with local tax laws, statutory filings, and audit requirements
Handle international transfers, cross-currency accounting, and reconciliation
Maintain both digital and physical records in a way that ensures auditability and transparency
Coordinate with the global finance team to align local operations with group-wide standards
Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and performance reporting
Support internal and external audits by preparing clear, timely documentation
Act as a reliable financial point of contact for field teams and headquarters
This role offers the chance to work on meaningful, nature-based initiatives while operating in a structured, internationally connected financial environment. You’ll be part of a global mission, with real local responsibility.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
We are looking for a highly dependable and capable financial professional who is ready to work at the intersection of purpose and precision. You’ll need a mix of technical skill, practical experience, and a structured mindset.
You bring:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to both project finance and legal entity administration
Strong knowledge of international accounting principles, compliance procedures, and financial controls
Demonstrated experience with payroll processing, tax submissions, and regulatory filings
Proficiency in digital accounting tools and financial reporting systems
A high level of accuracy, organization, and discretion in handling financial data
The ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with remote teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a strong advantage and will be highly regarded
This is a role for someone who takes ownership, values clarity, and thrives in a mission-driven, detail-oriented environment. If you’re ready to bring financial discipline to projects that make a real-world difference, we’d love to hear from you.
