EXTERNAL ADVERT: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – VARIOUS POSITIONS

Hunger Fighters Uganda (HFU), a non-profit NGO established in 2008 with a vision of “a hunger and malnutrition free Uganda,” invites applications for the following positions under the General Food Assistance (GFA), Self-Reliance Model (SRM), and Nutrition projects in Nakivale, Oruchinga, and Kyangwali Refugee Settlements:

Position: Community-Based Volunteers (17)

Location: Isingiro & Kyangwali Field Offices
Reports to: Livelihood & Resilience Assistant

Purpose:
To engage communities and support project implementation at the grassroots level.

Summary:
Provide technical support in agriculture, livestock, environmental conservation, civil works, and social and behavioral change activities. Facilitate digital and financial inclusion, and participate in community feedback mechanisms.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Support good agricultural and livestock practices
Participate in environmental, mushroom, and fish farming activities
Assist in digital and financial inclusion initiatives
Engage communities in SBCC activities and feedback mechanisms
