Position Summary:
Markh Investments is seeking experienced and dependable Truck Drivers to join our logistics and transportation team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various destinations—both local and cross-border—while ensuring timely deliveries, adherence to traffic laws, and compliance with company standards.

How to Apply
Operate company trucks to deliver goods and materials as per assigned schedules.
Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Safely load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage in transit.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs.
Follow designated routes, adjusting to traffic, road, or weather conditions as needed.
Ensure full compliance with all road safety laws and company driving policies.
Promptly report mechanical issues, accidents, or unexpected delays.
Communicate clearly with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers.
Deliver exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Valid CE driving license with at least 5 years of professional truck driving experience.
Aged between 40 and 55 years.
Ugandan national with proven cross-border driving experience.
Preferably married and stable in family life (for long-term reliability and responsibility).
Clean driving record with no recent violations.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and operational compliance.
Ability to operate trucks, trailers, and other heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.

Two Recommendation Letters
Contact details of two referees
Additional Skills & Attributes:
Physical ability to lift and secure cargo during loading/unloading.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Good communication and customer service abilities.
Mechanical aptitude is an added advantage for basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
Preferred Experience:
Long-haul, regional, or local delivery experience.
Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
Experience transporting hazardous materials (added advantage).
Work Environment:
Long driving hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Exposure to various weather and road conditions.
Combination of driving duties and physical loading/unloading tasks.
