Job Description

As a Garbage Truck Driver, you will transport waste from collection points to designated disposal sites. This role requires careful driving, adherence to route schedules, and timely completion of waste collection activities. Drivers must also assist in loading waste when necessary and report maintenance needs promptly.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate the garbage truck along scheduled routes

  • Ensure safe driving practices and adhere to traffic laws

  • Inspect vehicles before and after shifts

  • Report mechanical issues for timely repair

  • Assist with waste loading and unloading when needed

  • Maintain cleanliness and order within the vehicle
