​Established in 1979 as Intrah, the Program for International Training in Health, at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, IntraHealth International is a non-profit organization headquartered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, dedicated to improving global health by enhancing the performance of health workers and strengthening the systems in which they operate.
