Uganda Martyrs Day 2025: Traffic Management Plan for Namugongo Pilgrims

As Uganda prepares to host thousands of pilgrims and dignitaries for the Uganda Martyrs Day 2025 celebrations in Namugongo, the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety has released a detailed traffic management plan to ensure a safe and orderly experience for all.

The highly anticipated event on June 3, 2025, which commemorates the faith and sacrifice of the 45 Uganda Martyrs, is expected to draw millions of local and international attendees. To handle this massive turnout, the Uganda Police has issued strategic road use guidelines, parking instructions, and access protocols to prevent congestion and ensure smooth movement across key routes.
