MTN Mobile Money Uganda Limited has partnered with Sanlam Life Insurance Uganda to launch Cover by MoMo, a groundbreaking mobile insurance product designed to make insurance simple, affordable, and accessible for every Ugandan. Starting with Family Cover by MoMo, this platform offers both life and hospitalization insurance coverage from as little as UGX 500 per month.
With over 90% of Ugandans currently uninsured, Cover by MoMo aims to close the gap by bringing essential financial protection straight to people's mobile phones—no paperwork, no long queues, no middlemen.
