Tender Description:
A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Uganda, invites expressions of interest from qualified firms to participate in the Tender for Sanitation and Water Infrastructure Improvement Projects
Scope of Work:
The scope of work for this tender involves a comprehensive range of tasks aimed at improving water and sanitation infrastructure in Uleppi SS, Okollo SS, and Rhino Camp J.
This includes conducting test pumping to assess the yield and sustainability of existing boreholes, rehabilitating boreholes to enhance water flow, and supplying and installing solar-powered pumping systems.
Additionally, the project requires the fabrication and installation of a 6-meter-high tank tower to support two 5,000-litre water storage tanks, the construction of two tap stands for community water access, and comprehensive water quality testing to ensure safety.
The scope further includes securing the water infrastructure through fencing, repairing existing tap stands and ratmaster harvesting systems at three schools, and performing necessary maintenance to ensure the long-term functionality of the water systems in these areas.
All work must meet the specified technical and safety standards, with the contractor providing appropriate after-sales services where applicable.
