Tender Description:
Public Health and Community Development Entity, invites expressions of interest from qualified and eligible firms for Strengthening and modernizing sustainable public health systems and workforce in Uganda for data science, informatics, surveys, and surveillance for timely, accurate, and integrated data
Scope of Work:
The selected organization will be responsible for strengthening and modernizing Uganda's public health data systems and workforce, with a focus on data science, informatics, surveys, and surveillance to enable timely, accurate, and integrated data for high-quality decision-making.
The successful bidder will work closely with the Government of Uganda (GOU) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) to build capacity and enhance the data infrastructure necessary for collecting epidemic intelligence.
This includes the design and implementation of systems for general and targeted surveys, clinical surveillance, and disease surveillance to address critical data gaps in HIV and related health programs.
The successful organization will also support the development of a skilled workforce to manage and analyze health data, ensuring that accurate and timely data is available to inform public health decisions.
This Project will not fund research activities but will focus on strengthening operational data systems and enhancing data-driven decision-making across health programs.
