Job Description
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all administrative and operational functions of the store. This includes compiling reports, stock control, sales monitoring, staff training and development, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will also be tasked with achieving set warehouse targets, monitoring budgets, and implementing marketing plans in the warehouse environment. The role demands a hands-on manager with good planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage daily administrative tasks including audit and operational reports
Maintain accurate stock control processes and documentation
Ensure proper stock card management and reconciliation
Handle email and telephone enquiries professionally
Monitor and report spending against budget
Oversee consignment stock administration
Submit monthly marketing and promotion reports
Implement and manage staff performance contracts and development plans
Support staff during in-house training and skills development
Identify and nurture staff for accelerated growth
Control warehouse budget and align to organizational targets
Drive sales within the store
Ensure excellent customer service
Monitor in-store security and health & safety practices

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
National Senior Certificate
Experience Required:
At least 2 years' relevant experience in a store environment
Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role
Sound knowledge of agricultural products
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) and SAP systems
Strong planning and organizing abilities
Leadership and team management
