As a Waiter/Waitress at K Hotels, your duties will include:
Greeting and Escorting Customers:
Welcome guests with a warm smile and escort them to their tables.
Ensure a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Menu Presentation and Recommendations:
Present the menu to customers and provide detailed information about dishes, specials, and portion sizes.
Offer menu recommendations based on guest preferences.
Order Taking and Delivery:
Accurately record food and drink orders using a POS (Point of Sale) system, order slips, or memorization.
Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
Customer Satisfaction:
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
Address any concerns or requests promptly.
Up-Selling and ID Verification:
Suggest additional products (e.g., desserts, beverages) when appropriate.
Verify customers’ IDs to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcoholic beverages.
Effective Communication:
Collaborate with the Kitchen Staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
Maintain clear communication channels between the dining area and kitchen.
Table Preparation:
Set up tables with linens, silverware, and glasses.
Ensure a clean and inviting dining environment.
Shift Flexibility:
Be prepared to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
