Greeting and Seating Customers:

  • Welcome customers as they enter the restaurant.

  • Escort customers to their tables and provide menus.


Taking Orders:

  • Provide detailed information on menu items, daily specials, and promotions.

  • Answer questions regarding dietary restrictions, food preparation, and ingredients.

  • Take accurate food and drink orders, noting any special requests.


Serving Food and Beverages:

  • Deliver orders to the kitchen and ensure proper preparation.

  • Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly.

  • Monitor tables and ensure customers have everything they need.


Customer Service:

  • Check on customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals.

  • Respond to any complaints or issues, striving to resolve them quickly and satisfactorily.

  • Provide recommendations and upsell additional menu items.


Table Maintenance:

  • Clear dishes, silverware, and glassware from tables.

  • Refill drinks and provide additional items as requested.

  • Reset tables for the next set of diners.

  • Prepare and present the bill to customers.

  • Process payments through cash, credit cards, or other payment methods.

  • Ensure accurate handling of customer transactions and change.


Cleanliness and Organization:

  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and restrooms.

  • Ensure that all areas are stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Follow proper sanitation and food safety procedures.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure efficient service.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to handle busy periods.
