The University is governed by the Consortium, University council and directed by academic and administrative leaders, including the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Directors, Academic Registrar and Deans.

In unison, they ensure the fulfillment of the University’s mission, uphold its core values, and manage its operations and academic affairs.

The Consortium
Ndejje University is owned by the Church of Uganda (CoU) Dioceses in Buganda Region through a Consortium called the “Ndejje University Foundation Consortium”. The Consortium is registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee, not having share capital. It is responsible for appointing the Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor, the Chairperson of the Council and members of the University Council.

  • The University Librarian should have a master's degree in library and information science or a related field from a recognized institution, with at least five years of relevant experience in a senior library management position.

  • He or she should also have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as a strong commitment to customer service, innovation and quality improvement.

  • The University Librarian should be familiar with the current trends and best practices in library and information science, as well as the emerging technologies and tools for information access and delivery.
