Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Duties

Staff Management

  • Hiring, training, and supervising staff.

  • Scheduling staff shifts and ensuring adequate coverage.


Budget Management

  • Managing the unit's budget.

  • Monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Ensuring financial efficiency without compromising patient care quality.


Compliance and Standards

  • Ensuring the unit complies with healthcare regulations and standards.

  • Conducting regular audits and inspections.

  • Keeping updated with changes in healthcare laws and regulations.


Clinical Duties

Patient Care

Clinical Supervision

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Diploma or Degree in Agriculture or an equivalent qualification

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with proven expertise in poultry management and a strong understanding of the agricultural industry.


  • Oversee the daily operations of the poultry unit including feed management, health monitoring and environmental control systems.

  • Good knowledge of industry regulations and standards
