Team Up Coach job at War Child Holland
War Child Holland (WCH)
War Child Holland is looking to recruit a TeamUp Coach to support TeamUp implementation by partners across refugee settlements and vulnerable host communities in Uganda.
TeamUp is a psychosocial support intervention developed in 2016 to provide refugee children between the ages of 6 and 17 years with a variety of low structured recreational activities encompassing sports, games, dances, songs and other body-movement activities.
Coordinate Team Up trainings;
Conduct quality visits to partner staff to ensure adherence to quality standards;
To ensure WCH scaling plan is updated by;
Participate in consortium Coordination meetings.
Support in documenting stories of change with support from WCH Country office.
Provide weekly updates, monthly and quarterly reports on the TeamUp implementation.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Works & Administration/ Mental Health or any other relevant degree
Experience in coaching and mentorship of staff.
Must be child-friendly, act in the best interest of the child and be physically active
Good social and communication skills including the ability to participate actively in movement-based activities according to Team Up methodology and implementation standards.
Demonstratable experience in working with large and small groups of children.
Planning, implementation and time management skills.
Experience in planning, conducting and implementing structured recreational activities for children (dance, sport, and games).
Should be flexible, able to maintain a clear overview and capable of facilitating activities in a child-friendly manner.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Ability to speak at least one of the following languages: Kiswahili, Kinyabwisha, Runyankole, kigegere.
Knowledge of additional languages will be of advantage.
Ability to understand, speak and write English.
Understanding of Child Safety and have a clean criminal record.
NB: MUST be a TOT for Teamup
