Kampala Community International Preschool (KCIP) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team. This role focuses on working with our Play Group class (ages 18 months to 2 years), supporting their early learning, play, and social-emotional growth in a nurturing, child-centered environment.

Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom routines and learning activities
Support children during playtime, transitions, meals, and other routines
Help prepare learning materials and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom
Observe and document children’s developmental milestones
Communicate observations and progress with the teaching team
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Previous experience in an international or play-based learning environment is a plus
Genuine passion for working with young children
Understanding of learning through play and ability to engage children meaningfully
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Additional Involvement:
This role may also involve supporting our marketing services to help promote school events and activities.
