Job Description
Successful candidates will join the Supply Chain Department under the guidance of a mentor. They will undergo structured, competency-based training that covers demand planning, supplier selection, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring. Trainees will also gain experience in the broader functions of the FAIS Ombud, working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, public service-oriented environment.

How to Apply
Demand Planning: Forecast and anticipate customer and organizational needs to ensure appropriate inventory levels.
Supplier Selection: Evaluate and select reliable, cost-effective suppliers.
Negotiation and Contract Management: Assist in establishing favorable procurement terms with suppliers.
Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track supplier performance for quality assurance and timely delivery.
Participate in organizational initiatives related to supply chain operations.
Support the Supply Chain team with administrative and coordination tasks.

Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
South African citizen with a valid South African ID.
Passion for public service and an interest in the Financial Sector.
Strong academic performance with high levels of personal integrity.
Willingness to work in a high-pressure environment, learn quickly, and put in extra effort.
Energetic, self-motivated, and deadline-oriented.
Proficiency in computer use and digital tools.
