Job Description
Teachers will plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, integrate 21st-century teaching tools, assess learning with timely feedback, maintain classroom discipline, and collaborate with colleagues to drive continuous improvement. They will participate in clubs/competitions, communicate with parents/guardians, and uphold school policies and safeguarding standards.
The House Mistress/Female Hostel Coordinator will ensure students’ safety and welfare, supervise routines, enforce hostel rules consistently, coordinate activities, maintain records, and act as a role model while collaborating with academic and guidance teams.
Compensation: ₦50,000 – ₦100,000 per month (role/experience dependent).
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver learner-centred, tech-enabled lessons aligned to the school curriculum.
Design schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments; track and report student progress.
Maintain a well-managed, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Use data to differentiate instruction and close learning gaps.
Integrate educational technology and promote 21st-century skills.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and participate in school events.
Contribute to clubs, competitions, and co-curricular programmes.
Uphold safeguarding/child-protection, health & safety, and all school policies.
House Mistress (additional): manage day-to-day hostel operations; ensure welfare, discipline, and pastoral support; maintain records; coordinate activities; enforce rules consistently; and model exemplary conduct.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
B.A./B.Ed./B.Sc./HND in relevant subject/education; TRCN certification is an added advantage.
Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience.
Demonstrated growth mindset, adaptability, and tech-savviness.
Strong classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills.
Passion for excellence and continuous professional development.
House Mistress: prior experience in hostel/boarding management and strong pastoral care skills.
