Job Description
The Student Engagement and Support Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for online students. This role involves managing student attendance, supporting students in navigating online platforms, promoting the school's programs, and maintaining accurate student records. The coordinator will also assist in administrative tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the school's operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Updating Attendance Lists: Maintain accurate attendance records for both physical and online students.
Student Communication: Make calls to students who submit registration forms, guide them on next steps, and assist in closing the registration process.
Online Class Support: Help students access online classes and navigate the online platform.
Program Sales: Promote and sell the school's online programs, including courses, services, and training sessions.
Database Management: Maintain the student database and CRM, moving students from prospects to leads to closed clients.
Social Media Promotion: Promote the school on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp groups.
Email Campaigns: Send out email campaigns to cold leads to convert them into clients.
Course Updates: Upload missing content to online courses, including lecture videos, slides, and notes.
Class Coordination: Create and share Zoom links for online classes with students via WhatsApp groups and email.
Lecture Schedule Monitoring: Ensure lectures are taught according to the planned schedule.
Administrative Support: Assist the Administration Manager in maintaining the administration office.
Staff Meetings: Organize staff meetings and take minutes.
Corporate Outreach: Visit corporate organizations to sell hands-on training programs, accounting software, and other services.
Additional Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Graduate trainee / interns are preferred. However, experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting will be an added advantage.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using CRM software and online learning platforms.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with social media marketing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
