Responsibilities
Coordinating Supply Chain Logistics:
You will liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of essential items such as food, beverages, cleaning supplies, and other necessary resources.
Building strong relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts to secure high-quality products at competitive prices.
Effective supply chain management contributes to guest satisfaction and the hotel’s success.
Ensuring Operations Have What They Need:
You are responsible for equipping all hotel departments with the necessary resources to carry out their functions seamlessly.
Providing the housekeeping department with cleaning supplies, the kitchen with cooking utensils and ingredients, and the front desk with stationery and guest amenities.
Anticipating the needs of each department and ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver exceptional service.
Managing Inventory Control and Budgets:
Accurate record-keeping of all incoming and outgoing items.
Regular inventory audits to prevent shortages or excess.
Monitoring stock levels and maintaining budgetary discipline.
Table Setup and Guest Service:
Setting tables with tablecloths, table runners, and other decorative items.
Greeting guests and escorting them to their tables.
Serving water and other refreshments.
Presenting menus to customers.
Refilling glasses and promptly clearing empty plates.
Maintaining Cleanliness and Sanitation:
Cleaning and putting away dishes.
Keeping floors and food preparation areas clean.
Wiping tables and ensuring overall hygiene.
Proper disposal of trash.
