Job Description
The role focuses on ensuring timely and accurate submissions of state incentive applications for solar energy projects through various channels. It involves coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and state administrators to track documentation, monitor progress, and reduce cycle times. The coordinator maintains up-to-date knowledge of incentive requirements, ensures all communications and records are logged in the CRM, and plays a key role in resolving issues that may arise during the submission process. The position requires excellent communication, organization, and technical skills and supports a dynamic team environment in a fully remote setting.

Manage state incentive submission and approval processes for organic and channel partner projects
Track outstanding documents and maintain detailed records in the CRM
Follow up with state program administrators to minimize processing delays
Ensure documentation is accurate and complete for each submission
Stay informed of changing market-specific state incentive requirements and share updates
Provide responsive support to internal teams, customers, and state agencies
Facilitate submissions across communication platforms (calls, mail, email, portals)
Investigate and resolve submission issues quickly and professionally
Log updates in CRM and assist with performance tracking
Support team performance goals and contribute to overall operational efficiency
Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
High school diploma or GED (required)
1-2+ years of experience in solar operations, REC registration, or incentive program workflows
Experience with REC registries such as GATS, M-RETS, or WREGIS
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, accuracy-driven tasks
Familiarity with Salesforce, Excel, Locus, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Google Workspace
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized, persistent, and self-motivated
Team player with a professional and adaptable attitude
Ability to maintain confidentiality
