Job Description
This is a senior-level legal role within Corporate & Investment Banking, responsible for delivering expert legal guidance in Transaction Banking and Trade. The incumbent will serve as a legal authority, supporting business strategies while ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, evaluating legal risk, setting legal risk appetite, advising legal entity boards, and contributing to policy and strategy development. The role also requires managing long-term risk exposure while maximizing revenue opportunities and ensuring the bank operates within the legal and regulatory boundaries.

Qualifications:
Postgraduate Degree or LLB in Law
Admitted Attorney
Experience:
Over 10 years’ experience in legal practice, with a specialization in corporate, commercial, or financial sectors
Extensive experience in providing senior legal counsel and setting legal precedents
Proven background in legal risk management and strategic legal advisory roles
