Job Description
The South Africa Winter Internship Program offers a unique, immersive experience for students to gain real-world exposure to the Investment Banking industry. Interns will be actively involved in key activities such as building financial models, conducting market research, and assisting in the development of bespoke corporate finance solutions. Participants will also learn about Citi’s extensive range of financial services and products while contributing to innovative and responsible client solutions.
Successful interns may be considered for Citi’s full-time graduate or analyst programs, which provide extensive training and opportunities to earn globally recognized qualifications.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Actively participate in day-to-day activities within the Investment Banking unit.
Build and analyze financial models to support client projects.
Research industry trends to provide tailored insights for client solutions.
Learn about Citi’s range of financial products and services.
Collaborate with the team to create innovative solutions for clients.
Support client engagement and development activities.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Requirements:
Enrolled in Undergraduate, Honours, or Master’s program.
Strong academic performance at Matric and university levels.
Required documents: CV, Cover Letter, Updated Academic History, and ID Copy.
Preferred Fields of Study (Not Mandatory):
Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
