We seek a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant/Intern. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking, updating and reporting Social Equity Program M&E data and ensuring the data is of the best quality possible.

Work under the direction of the JA Africa M&E Team to ensure high-quality program information is available and used to promote program accountability, learning and improvement.
Perform quality control for programme progress and results.
Work with in-country SEP Leads to collect, process and report program data
Provide support to M&E-related program logistics
Master and lead in the use of technological innovations for collecting and analysing data to measure programming impact
Prepare project reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
Monitor project activities, outputs and progress towards anticipated results
Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics or in IT or Social Science
Demonstrated familiarity with and understanding of qualitative and quantitative methodologies of data collection and processing.
Demonstrated skill in statistical analysis and Management of Information Systems
Demonstrated skills in information analysis and reports.
Strong skills in all MS Excel (non-negotiable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
French applicants are required to have a working knowledge of the English language
