Job Description
The Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficient, high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services while maintaining customer satisfaction and profitability.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all service operations within the dealership
- Ensure timely, high-quality servicing and repairs of vehicles
- Supervise, train, and mentor service team staff
- Manage workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency
- Monitor service department performance, including KPIs, customer satisfaction, and revenue targets
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies, and manufacturer requirements
- Handle customer complaints and ensure excellent service delivery
- Prepare reports on service operations, costs, and performance for management
