Job Description
The Service Coordinator will be responsible for managing on-site implementation, training healthcare workers, and providing ongoing technical support for the IMPALA system. This role requires effective coordination with a wide range of stakeholders, including hospital administrators, healthcare staff, and government health authorities. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare delivery or digital health, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong project management capabilities. The position demands a hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for transforming health systems through digital innovation.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate the rollout of the IMPALA system in hospitals across Tanzania
Facilitate on-site implementation, including system setup, testing, and staff training
Build and maintain relationships with healthcare workers, hospital administrators, and health authorities
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure continuous user support
Collect feedback from users and communicate improvement suggestions to the development team
Manage all logistics related to the implementation process including inventory, travel, and scheduling
Champion a shift from reactive to proactive healthcare practices
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of implementation activities
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Medicine)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years working in healthcare delivery, digital health, or health technology
Experience coordinating complex healthcare or technology deployments is highly desirable
Skills and Competencies:
Strong project coordination and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Swahili
Adaptable and hands-on approach with the ability to train healthcare professionals
Problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on quality outcomes
Comfortable with digital tools and technical troubleshooting
Passion for health equity and system improvement
Fluency in both Swahili and English is required
